Our Rental Process

We’ve streamlined our process to ensure your equipment arrives on time, fully fueled, and ready to work. Here is exactly what to expect when you rent with JBL.

1. Secure Your Dates

Browse our fleet and select your rental window right here on our site. To secure your equipment and guarantee availability, a 15% deposit is collected at the time of reservation. This ensures the machine is taken off the market and reserved exclusively for your project.

2. Finalize the Reservation

Prior to delivery, we handle the remaining logistics in advance, so you don't have to fumble with paperwork on the job site:

  • The Balance: 24 Hours in advance of delivery, the remaining 85% of your rental total will be processed using the credit card on file.
  • Security Hold: An applicable security deposit hold will be placed on your card. This is a temporary authorization (not a charge) that is released once the equipment is returned in its original condition.
  • Email Review: Shortly after booking, you will receive a copy of our Equipment Rental Terms & Conditions via email. This gives you time to review our safety guidelines and maintenance requirements at your own pace before we arrive.

3. Personal Confirmation

Once your reservation is finalized, a member of the JBL team will reach out to you via email or telephone. We will confirm your delivery address, coordinate the drop-off window, and discuss any specific site access requirements (gates, narrow driveways, etc.).

4. Delivery & Documentation

When our trailer pulls up to your site, we will:

  • Identity Verification: Our driver will take a quick photo of your government-issued ID for our records.
  • Physical Signing: Since you’ve already had a chance to review the Equipment Rental Terms & Conditions via email, we’ll get your physical signature on-site. This is the perfect time to ask any last-second questions about the machine's operation or our policies.
  • Condition Transparency: JBL takes detailed photos of the equipment at the time of delivery. This protects both parties by documenting the machine's exact condition and fuel level before you start your first hour of work.
  • Controls Walkthrough: If you’re new to the machine, we’ll give you a 5-minute "pro-tip" orientation to ensure you’re comfortable with the controls.

5. Work & Return

Enjoy the machine! When your window is up, we’ll swing by for pickup.

  • Maintenance: Remember to follow the 8-hour grease rule to keep the machine running smooth. We provide the grease gun and show you the points at delivery.
  • Fuel & Cleanup: No need to hit the gas station if you purchased the Fuel Service Option. Simply ensure the machine is free of excessive mud or debris, and we’ll handle the rest.

Cancellation

We know plans change. In the event you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window may be subject to a one-day rental charge per our Cancellation Policy.
